ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We endeavour to be as ethical and eco-friendly as we can possibly be, here’s more details on what we are currently doing and where we are trying to improve as options become available.

NOTEBOOKS

All card and paper are 100% recycled and the plastic sleeves are made from bio-film which is 100% biodegradable and compostable (actually made from potatoes which is pretty cool!)

GIFT CARDS

All paper stock is FSC Certified, and envelopes are recycled brown Kraft paper. Our latest stocks all have a biodegradable cello sleeve, but we do still have a very small amount of older stock with a standard plastic sleeve so occasionally you may receive one of these.

ART PRINTS

We use art paper made by Hahnemühle who are committed to sustainability and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. All prints have a recycled backing board and our A5, A4 and A3 prints come in a biodegradable plastic sleeve. We’re still in the process of sourcing A2 plastic sleeves and hope to switch soon. When you order online, our art prints are made to order in our studio, keeping wastage to an absolute minimum.

TEXTILES

All our textiles are made in the UK in small batches, working with carefully selected manufacturers. Digital print uses minimal ink and materials, compared to more traditional printing processes keeping wastage to a minimum. We believe in ‘slow fashion’, and are dedicated to offering well made, quality items that are designed to last.

PACKAGING

For packaging materials, we avoid plastic as much as possible, we use boxes, envelopes, tape and tissue paper that are recycled or FSC Certified. Our bubble wrap and cello wraps (all but A2 currently) are biodegradable and printed materials are produced on recycled paper stock.
